About Chairperson

Smt. Ratan Anya

Ratan Anya, after graduating from DN Govt. College, Itanagar, she obtained LLB from Delhi University in 2005 and registered herself with Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh & Sikkim in the same year to become the first advocate in her community & serve as Panel advocate (2007) of Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh.

She had served Oju Welfare Association (OWA) as a Counselor under the scheme of Family Counseling Centre, besides serving as member of Women’s Welfare Association (2006-07) & State Commission for Consumer Dispute Redressal.

She has a strong zeal to learn about the culture and socio-economic life of the rural people. This urge compelled her to travel to various countries of Asia to blend in the rural life of those countries. She has also travelled to a few countries in Europe.

Admitting that the responsibility she has willingly shouldered would ensure an arduous journey throughout life as following her (Binny’s) glorious path would demand sacrifices at every step, gravely said Anya whom I knew since long.

It is destiny that paved my way to the present assignment, she said, adding “I would seek guidance & blessing of seniors and well wisher, cooperation of one & all and try with commitment to walk on the tight rope”.

Chairperson's Message

At OJU Mission School, we don’t believe in preaching, instead we allow our students to experience, explore and experiment through various experiences.

Along with the academic excellence and vast sports opportunities, we provide our students with an exposure to the realities of the world. We sculpt them into competitive, empathetic, optimistic individuals who strive to succeed in every challenge they are faced with.

We aim at ensuring that our comprehensive development programs provide students with an international learning experience, while preserving our core Indian culture and values. With such qualities imbibed within them, our students are bound to “Arise, Awake, Ascend” to greater heights and a greater tomorrow

It is my vision to provide the world with motivated, responsible and disciplined youth, to shape a better future. I believe this can be achieved by strengthening their foundation upon which they can create a successful future for themselves and the society around them.

While students enter a new academic year, I would suggest that besides learning and being good at subjects like Hindi, English, Science, Math and others; learning the precious value of life is also equally important. These should constitute the foundation for your higher education, your career, your family life, social life, religious life and even while fulfilling your responsibilities towards the society and nation at large.

Also, always remember that nothing stays forever – neither success nor failure. The only thing that is constant in life is change. We have to accept the changes and challenges of life and be mentally focused, strong and determined. Keep learning about new things, God has created infinite capacity in you, make use of it; handle adverse situations fearlessly, with courage.

I am confident that if you cherish and live these values, you will go a long way and achieve success in all spheres of life!

Wishing you all the very best!

With Regards,
Chairperson, OJU welfare Association (OWA)
